The urban poor are a unique phenomenon. They are the side effects or residue of modernization. They often lived in the very cramped dwellings, one room affairs that tend to create a form of socialization totally without privacy. Many slums have developed a dependency attitude, a give-me posture that demands that others would help them.

A 3-day seminar – workshop designed for new preschool teachers who would like to learn the basic knowledge and skills in facilitating a developmentally appropriate pre-school.
TOPIC HIGHLIGHTS:
It began inn July 2008 with a visit to when a team of MMP missionaries visited University of Rizal System (URS) in Montalban, Riza1. It was a new relatively new campus built by the local government that at that time held a student population of of over 1,500 college students. Majority of the population are were taking up Business and Education course studies. The survey revealed that of the total student population, 70-80% students belong to the poorest of the poor families. The campus is surrounded by different relocation housing areas for the poor.
Livelihood programs seek to stop poverty from replicating itself is by using talents and skills from the community to create handicrafts. This is a creative and sustaining way to support the community financially. Livelihood programs generate income for families in the urban poor.


Missionary In Training (MIT) is designed to prepare missionaries to enter the field of church planting among the urban poor. MIT consists of two types of training, field work and classroom.
