How the Vision for the Youth started

It began inn July 2008 with a visit to when a team of MMP missionaries visited University of Rizal System (URS) in Montalban, Riza1. It was a new relatively new campus built by the local government that at that time held a student population of of over 1,500 college students. Majority of the  population are were taking up Business and Education course studies. The survey revealed that  of the total student population, 70-80% students belong to the poorest of the poor families. The campus is surrounded by different relocation housing areas for the poor.

For three (3) years of campus work of the MMP missionary team, not less than 1,500 were evangelized through medical & dental mission, social fellowship, one-on-one evangelism, class room evangelism, small group bible study. Later, we had discipled and trained 45 student leaders on how to share the gospel using different tools like “the bridge” illustration and “four spiritual laws” and on how to lead small group bible study. Since that time, we also have provided educational scholarships to 12 deserving students coming from the area.
